World Series Sprintcars Rd 2 Report
Sorry for the delay in getting this report online. We had trouble with phone coverage as Peter is on his way to Perth for round 3.
Parramatta, as it turned out, was a much needed round to get the core team together and a big learning curve for everyone. We are still learning the intricacies of each individual chassis and our new crew member Paul also having to learn our car.
The night started out with the car not playing the game through time trials and the heats but it didn't take long for the crew to get their head around the problem and have a good run in both the D-Main and C-Main where Peter passed 6 cars and was getting better with each lap.
While we try and win every meeting we race at, the team are not disappointed at the result as we knew it would take a few meetings to gel and put all the new ideas into practice.
Round 3 will test the team again in Perth with a high speed and flowing track that will show up any setup errors very quickly. Peter and the crew are confident of a good result following a big improvement during the night at Parramatta.
