Last night was the very first G & W Racing /Peter Lack sprintcar season launch.
The venue was the most impressive Spotted Cow Hotel in Toowoomba. Starting at 4:00 with a good number of invited guests and sponsors turning up which made for an enjoyable afternoon.
We had two cars on display ( Full Race Ready Sprintcar and the Two Seater) which drew a lot of interest from the public and also let the sponsors get up close to the cars and interact with the team. The night was designed to show our sponsors that they are a valued part of the race team who play a major role in getting our cars on the track.
Guest speakers were Doug Shultz (Charlton Raceway) and Joe Ramier (Toowoomba Regional Council) who spoke about how our team has lifted the standard and image of speedway and gave us the support of both Charlton Raceway and the Toowoomba Regional Council. We would like to thank both Doug and Joe for their kind words and time.
G & W Racing would like to thank all those who attended and look forward to seeing our spoonsors and fans at the track this season.
Now we have launched the season it is time for business and the first challenge is the "King Of The Ring" at Cairns starting on Friday 5th Sep 2008.
